Golf in Cyprus

Anyone visiting Cyprus should spare a morning to play a round at Joint Services Golf Club at Episkopi located in Happy Valley through Tunnel Beach. Maybe not the manicured course to be found shortly up the road at Aphrodite's but I don't think you'll ever complain about the magnificent location.
I was just wondering if anyone else had played here or know of any other hidden gems around.

I believe there are only the three courses on the island to date, Last time I was there was for my wedding and honeymoon so didnt dare even mention golf the whole fortnight.

There are 4 tourist golf courses at present including Aphrodities Hill and Secret Valley, also 4 courses conected to the British Military but as far as I'm aware all are open to the general public. 3 of these have Browns as putting surfaces and the course at Happy Valley has Astroturf greens.

Incidentally rumour has it that the Cypriot government have ordered Aphrodities Hill to turn off their water supply which brings into doubt the plans to make Cyprus a major golf destination within the next 7 years.

Surely the club could invest in a desalinisation process, there is plenty of salt water round the island!
