Hi all,

got a client meeting on Wednesday in Clevedon and thinking of putting my clubs in the car and grabbing a game after.

any recommendations on where to play?

I played long Ashton last year and it was a treat. Definitely recommend it. Fantastic condition and interesting variety of holes, especially the front 9.

If you're fit then Clevedon itself is your best choice but the 12th to 15th can be a bit challenging physically as you come back from the Gordano valley.

Players(just off M4,jct 18) should have held up to the recent rain. Never played Kendleshire so can't comment , Bristol is a nice course but could still be a bit soft underfoot

Clevedon is a really nice track. One of my favourites around here. If you have a County card can be played for about £20.

My home course. It's pretty bad in the rain! The green keepers do a Stirling job but it doesn't drain great!

Former Kendleshire member here....

It doesn't drain well either I'm afraid. I think it's actually been closed this weekend.

As Mendie says; Players also doesn't drain very well as it's only a few miles away from Kendleshire and on similar land.

Personally, I'd drive down to Burnham. Its in exceptional condition 365 and is in a different league to every other course in the area!

Played Clevedon and it is a fun course. Hit a sheep with my opening tee shot. Probably thought it would be safe on the fairway.
