hi, just moved to bath and joined bath golf club today. am quite a newbie and looking for someone to mentor me for a few rounds so i can get my handicap cert.
even if your too busy to help on course a good chat over a cold one in the club house will suffice!!

Played, well walked, Bath golf club last tuesday. Had a bit of a shoulder niggle. I've got a tournament there on the 2nd of April there.

I didn't like the first 6 holes but after that I thought it was all good.

If you fancy coming up to Bristol, you're more than welcome to join me for a round at my place (Thornbury) if you ever feel like it.

'My place' now. Didn't take you long to make yourself at home. ;) ;)

You wont go too far wrong playing at Bath. It's a lovely course. I was a member there for years and only left when I moved away from the area.

Struggling to understand why Feary didn't like the first 6 holes as they are possibly the most picturesque ones on the course. On a clear day the views down into Bath are absolutely superb.

Have a chat with the handicap / membership secretary, or even Russell in the pro shop to see if they can sort you out with a game with someone to get your handicap sorted.

UP1.

hi, thanks for the replies.....
yes, spoken to russell, he's going to help me out. and when i have got my handicap cert i will concentrate on getting better at this course, before venturing out, consistency is the key and i just dont have that as yet!!
