If you mean an overseas trip then I'd suggest Villamoura or turkey (Belek).

Have been to Villamoura 4 times and every time both golf and resort have been great, just returned from turkey and found the golf to be fantastic, although the hotel was quieter it was still enjoyable.

Anyone got any good suggestions for a golf holiday? I'm looking for inspiration.

Could do with knowing a budget/length of holiday/participants really!

Is it an overnight trip in the UK with the other'arf or is it 30 lads on a stag week in a slightly less wholesome venue your after?

Myself and 7 of my mates treated ourselves for our 40th birthdays to 8 days golfing in Scottsdale in June this year. Played 8 of their best courses (available to visitors) including both courses at Troon North, Mickelson's courses at Grayhawk, Superstition Mountain and Boulders GC to name a few. Absolutely superb!!! Because of the time of year we played there was deals a plenty. Temperature didn't fall below 100 the whole time we were there but because it is a dry heat it didn't feel anything like what the Temps were showing - we were also in buggies and the courses are set up with drinking stations every second hole - therefore absolutely no problems at all for any of us. Total price of the holiday including spending money was a little under £1,950. each. The golf bill (believe it or not) was £348 for 8 rounds of golf at the best they had to offer - including buggies, stroke savers, practice balls and all the tees, pencils and pitch mark repairers you could stuff in your pockets. Scottsdale is a great place for going out in also. All in all the best value golf holiday we've ever been on (admittedly the most extravagant) I personally have felt totally ripped off in Spain the last few ventures.

if you go to villamoura, avoid the laguna course. boring and not worth the money. the millennium course is nice though.
