Looking for suggestions for a golf hat, the beanie type but not the skin tight ones if you know what I mean. I'm currently using one of those thinsulate ones which I don't feel is appropriate for on the course.

Wear whatever works, I've always worn thinsulate walking hats lik many others I've seen. Get a good one from an outdoors shop and you will be fine.

This time of year Id really have to suggest none.
I couldn't bare wearing one right now
How can you bare it hehe?

You are right, i probably won't wear it much this time of year, but being in Scotland, it has been known to get the occasional cold day in the summer months. So get your suggestions in and I'll take no more of your cheek haha 😂

If you are looking just to cut out the wind, go for a Windstopper hat, ideal for Scottish Summer weather!

I have a GG one I got years ago that works a treat

Half Eintracht Frankfurt/ half Borussia Moenchengladbach bobble hat, like they had in the 80's.

Stu C was fitted for one of these, as it was only with these names on that it would fit him.;)

I've got many different hats/caps for various conditions.

I'm in the process of buying a Galvin Green waterproof hat, expensive but I get through 3 or 4 hats when its pouring so would prefer to just keep 1 on and stay dry.

I've got a Mizuno Beanie style that keeps my ears warm when its very windy and has a small peak that keeps any light rain off my face.

A Mizuno woolly hat for winter cold.

I've got quite a few caps that I've won in various brands, but, as I have a SLDR driver, I would like 1 of these though :smirk:

Galvin Green do a nice waterproof baseball hat for about £25-30, which does the trick when its not monsoon type.

That top one would get caught on your overswing wouldn't it......:)
