So it's Blackmoor on Monday, and I've not played for 4 weeks, and not much chance of getting out before either.

Anyone else got their excuses (ah hem!), I mean. Anyone else not played this long before Mondays meet?

Add to that. A new putter from AG / GM that has never seen grass, and hopefully a new driver. Even if it's only a demo one for the day.

I've got 'em all ready!!!! ;)

Please don't mention the word drought.

It is hammering down here. Positively torrential, build an ark type rain.

I haven't played since Sunday, and before that Saturday.

I am playing tomorrow evening, Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, Sunday afternoon, and then all day Monday.

I bet you still shoot a better score than me.

Played once last Friday and not really practiced in two weeks. Playing the Volvo tomorrow so poor Mike might be in for a real tough afternoon. Also struggling with a stomach bug resulting in me being sent home from work and so the prognosis isn't great. Still I've the stableford on Saturday to get another 0.1 back and can chop it round Camberley on Sunday before being sure of my rightful last place on Monday. My estimate is 5 lost balls in the main event PM and 3 in the morning 9 holer

I'm glad you are all so looking forward to the day. Good news is the rain will have slowed the course down, which makes it play easier. Mind you the rough may be a bit brutal in places. :D

I have a similar golf drought Murph....playing Thursday night, 2 rounds Friday, 1 round Sunday, 2 rounds Monday, 2 rounds Tuesday, 2 rounds Wednesday..........probably will have forgotten which end of the club to hold :o :D :D

I can highly reccommend this not playing much malarky! At the moment i'm averaging a game every 2 weeks! Every time i step on the course i enjoy it , good or bad. Had some pretty severe surgery 8 weeks ago so haven't been able to move my head much, but got a round in last week and managed 10 pars surprisingly.

I'll not take it for granted when i get going again that's for sure, i'm climbing the walls for a game sometimes.
