Golf Day Worksop

Hi Everyone,
I am organising a Charity Golf Day in aid of Cystic Fibrosis on Friday 11th June at Worksop Golf Course.
It is a 4 member team event open to any combination, best two scores to count.
The cost is £150 per team including a 2 course meal.
There will be some great prizes of a car and holiday up for grabs for a hole in one
also a prize for the longest drive.
Presentation in the evening along with a charity auction of the following items.

1, A Day at the Races by Helicopter for 2 with meet and greet the trainer and jockey in the parade ring and entry to the course. (Race venue to be mutually agreed)
2, Oliver Wilson signed Ryder Cup shirt from Valhalla USA (his own shirt)
3, Oliver Wilson signed Callaway Cap
4, Signed Rio Ferdinand Man U shirt
5, Signed Sheffield United Shirt by whole squad (not a replica)
6, Signed GB Tracksuit with various athletes signatures
7, Rob Andrew MBE signed Rugby ball
8, Dickie Bird Signed Cricket Ball and 2 Pro 40 Notts complimentary tickets
9, Signed GB T Shirt with all Olympic Winning signatures on from Swimming and Athletes
10, 1 hours Flying Lesson at local Airfield
11, 4 Ball at Horseley Lodge including Meals

Steve without wanting to sound a bit silly, these prizes were up for auction a while back and when asked if they were the prizes for this charity golf event you said no.
Can you please clarify before anyone else posts.

To make it clear there will be prizes for the top 5 teams and then when the presentation is over we will hold an auction for the main items listed below my post.
The value alone for the Helicoptor trip is over £3000 if you bought it on the street!
Anyone who would like to bid for any of the items are welcome to do so.
I am only trying to raise as much money as possible for a charity that is close and personel to me and my family.
Unfortunately it seems a lot of people would sooner pick fault and critisise for this.
I am classed as a newbie and it seems to me that there is a very strong click in this forum were perhaps Newbies are not so much taken as having a valid opinion which is a shame.
I am offering the chance to play golf at one of Nottinghamshires premier courses for £150 for a four ball with meals, if you played it through the week it would cost you £200 just for the Golf.
All the auction items come with Letters of Authenticity.
We are not trying to rip anyone off with this its a chance to play golf with some mates and also raise money for a worth while cause .
Howdidido have entered teams and so has other forums.
If no one wants to play fine, but stop critising someone for trying to do something that is worthwhile .
i do like this forum because there is some good topics but i do feel Newbies are not encouraged enough to interact.
My opinion only i may add .
