Golf courses - Alicante Area

Could anyone kindly share their thoughts / experiences about golf around Alicante?

We are heading out next year for 3 months - staying in La Marina.

The 2 courses that have caught my eye are - La Marquesa and Font del Llop. Both offer temporary memberships.

Ideally I am looking for somewhere I can join on a short term basis as paying High Golf Season greenfees 3+ times a week is looking rather expensive.

Font de Llop is a nice course with a decent variety of holes. Cant comment on the membership experience but I'd be quite content to play there for a 3 month spell. Hoping to meet up there in the next week or so, for another round with an ex-pat mate.

Only played at font de llop once and the wind made it almost impossible. Apparently the mountains act like a wind funnel so it's always like that. A nice course but have played much better ones in Spain tbh

I liked font del llop… “wolf’s spring”

It’s not a top 100 course but plenty of interesting holes to challenge you. Was in great nick when I played there a few years back. Decent practice facilities too.
