Golf Course Vandalism

I’ve just been informed that some idiots have vandalised our golf course.

On two consecutive nights they moved a post and then drove over the greens ........

Why do people do this .......

I don't know. Periodically we get holes dug in the greens by idiots, who then steal all the flags. I too can't see the fun in this.

That happened at our place too, 'cept it was our second and it was a three foot ring round the outside!!!!!!!!

Our course regularly has flags stolen,divots taken from greens,markers broken etc.

Same on our 8th. It's on the road to recovery but will be a while.

Brilliant!!

I broke in there at 4.15am a few weeks go and did untold damage to my golf game! It was for a good cause though

Smiffy's only jealous that by the itme he reaches our greens he can't score on the hole anyway so never gets to actually putt on them. Its a sad story and prevalent I'm afraind. The club HID works at has suffered recently They broke into the range ball machine and used them as ammo to break most of the clubhouse windows as well as nicking all the flags.

Touch wood and Smiffy's mocking apart, because we have security gates and are tucked away from houses etc its too far for the little poppets to bother trekking out and so we've got away with it. It wasn't the case when we played inside the racecourse which was common or public land. We'd often have vandalism usually in the form of bike tracks on some of the greens

Where to start.

Holes 5,6,7 and 8 greens ripped to shreds and now looks like a patchwork quilt.

Flags stolen on more or less a daily basis on 7 and 8

Security cameras and security light ripped down

Wooden patio stolen and the cups on the practise putting green stolen

Had rakes in every bunker now stolen so you collect one at the clubhouse and carry it round with you.

Not my club but my girlfriends and although its in a nice area you cant stop mindless idiots coming ruining the place
