Depends if he has his LFC head on (as we all know how they like to dress things up) so i'm guessing around 728!

There used to be a real anti golf course lobby a few years ago, but i would suggest given the choice between a golf course and a few hundred houses, i know what i would go for.

Even in Inversneck, the 3 courses in the town are a haven for wildlife, if they were not golf courses they to would just be another housing estate.

What they fail to mention is most golf course are built on land that's no good for housing. Look at some of the courses in Yorkshire built on some serious hills, good luck building housing estates on them!

The 9 hole PGA course at Formby is a godsend in winter for a non membership golfer like me. Being links it drains superbly & the greens are always awesome - almost guaranteed a round there if local courses are unplayable through wet weather.

is that the wee 9 holer beside Formby hall?

id like a day at Formby hall then a par 3 challenge in the evening! splendid !
