Golf clubs for teenagers

Having taken my 13 year old out with me and cobbled together a few clubs (which were a bit too long) he has decided he wants to play more often. So the search for some clubs starts .. he is 5"4 and growing and is quite strong, my thoughts were to get a hybrid, 7,9, SW to start off with.. but really don't know where to start any advice appreciated, I also have a budget of £100 as it could just be a fad !

Have a look at sportshq, persimmon kit decent quality and they do 1inch shorter kit designer for 5'4/5 height complete set around your budget all new and shiney.

My son, also thirteen, uses USkids Golf clubs. He is on his second set and much prefers them to the slightly cheaper Masters ones. You can get them at American Golf as a package or just get individual clubs.

There are generally loads available at car boot sales.

Bought by golfing fathers for their sons who did not want to play in the first place.

Cheap GI clubs an have them "fitted".

They can play with anything, unlike us adults who need the latest gear to even have a chance of shooting our handicaps.

I,am with Doon here . Can't see the point of havin' them fitted. If he's owt like my lad, he could be six inches taller in 12 mth.
Hope he gets the bug though mate, we need more younguns'.
