Seems to be a spate of thefts from local clubs (NW Kent) where a guy dressed in golf gear is taking sets of clubs from outside the club.
His photo is being circulated but a general warning not to leave kit unattended.
Thought I'd pass on incase this spreads around the counties.

It's been happening up in Scotland as well. A man and woman dressed in good attire and getting into the locker rooms and stealing clubs. Beware who hold the door open for when you enter the club!

If there’s a picture of him, can you share it?
We could then print it off and place it in and around the club to help stop it.

From our GM

Kent Golf have been in touch to advise all clubs in Kent that there have been a spate of thefts at various golf clubs with Tenderden and Etching Hill being the most recent. The suspects have been described as a man (tall skinny dark hair and mustache) and a blonde lady both dressed in dark clothing with caps on. The vehicle they used was a Red MG ZS (licence plate LO18 WVW)

If the police aren't picking them up with all of that information, something is seriously wrong.

Wow, that's as clear as you like. Surely that person can be identified through local social media.
It looks like the CCTV image has been enhanced with AI though, so he might not look exactly like that. (Check the wording that's meant to say 'Under Armour' on his jacket.)

It seems like the days when you could leave your clubs outside while you grabbed a drink are gone, sadly. I always put mine in the car straight away anyway, unless the car park is miles away - in that case we'd put them somewhere we can see them.

Unless he bought it on holiday in Turkey :ROFLMAO:

Point taken though (y).

I must be more cautious than others, I always put my clubs in the car after a round, no matter how far away I'm parked. It's just default for me.

I often get back to my clubs to find people have left money by my bag.
I'm thinking of putting an old coffee cup next to it.

I used to do that until someone broke into the boot and took both sets of clubs in there.
I now leave them in view if possible.

That's obviously a kicker. Tricky to keep them in view all of the time. As is often shown, it only takes a few seconds for someone to walk away with a trolley.
