I know there are plenty on here who have their eyes on clubs just because they look nice. No logic to it but want real bad.

So what's yours and your warped logic to justify?

I want some Mizuno MP 54"s. Real bad. Would buy like a shot if found the right set @ the right price.

Warped logic - They might inspire me to improve so I'm good enough to use!

Just so happens I know a guy selling a set cheap... R300 shafts though...

My driver is no better than my old one but the 850 is miles prettier than the EZ

Exactly which r300's are they? Google says loads of different r300 variants!

Thread went rapidly off track?

Will compose myself.and take to Pm!

Greig always seems to have gear available ;)

Me, if Srixon 745s had bladders they could, well, you know....:o

Any shiny blade. Titleist and Mizuno offerings always look excellent and I try and find a myriad of reasons why they'd be worth buying. Then I look at the state of my game and that idea vanishes again

Mizuno MP-5.

Following on from when I was doing some e-bay browsing associated with the old school club challenge I did see a couple of nice sets of MacGregor blades especially the Muirfield 20th which had a lovely satin finish. Would love a mint set of those.

My club fetish has curbed somewhat the last couple of years but I do lust after a putting stroke that doesn't crumble under the slightest bit of pressure.......

The new Nike Vapor Fly Blackout driver.

Why: Because it's beautiful.

Twisted Logic: My current driver is old and battered :(

MP-5's.

I wanted them so bad before I even hit them, I considered buying a 6 iron just to hang on the wall.

Now I've actually hit them, and hit them well, I'm about to post the mrs on ebay to raise the cash!

Logic- They are MP5s. No logic needed.

I really really REALLY need a black R15 fairway wood but can not find one anywhere to buy.

Also want a Newport 2 which I send to Scotty's custom shop, but $900 all in means I will have to wait a bit.

Got my 54s at Christmas, KBS Tour shafts, great nick.

Logic - during swing changes was told by a pro that my G15s were probably not suitable for the way I was now hitting the ball and that I should look at the i15s/20s. I didn't like the look of them so I bought the shiney things instead.

Makes perfect sense to me.

Ps I reckon as Mizzys go they are pretty forgiving, my good shots are so much better, trajectory, feel, everything really. yes I hit bad ones and they go a lot less distance than a bad one with a G15 but every time I pull one out of the bag I feel like I'm going to nail the shot cos they just look so classy.

Really? I think your current bats are nicer than those mp54's. Mizuno h5 is where its at without going down the full blade route.
