As you may have guessed from the title of this thread I am having a slow morning and was wondering do you own any items of clothing branded with your golf club logo? How often do you wear it, and would you wear it when you are visiting another club, or do you only wear it for matches?

It costs a flipping fortune and usually I don't like it! Most expensive knitwear I've ever bought is a sleeveless jumper and full jumper with the club logo on. They're Glenmuir and a nice colour so didn't mind too much. I refuse to buy the t-shirts as they're rubbish cotton fabric so have a few in a very similar colour which I wear for matches. Only ever wear the knitwear for matches too.

pretty much all but a couple of items are club branded. no issue wearing it when i play at other clubs.

we get very good deals on stuff and its all top brands, OJ, RL, CK.

If you play for the club, you are expected to wear club gear and if its for one of the league teams we get a club team member jumper.

I own nothing from my current club simply because white poli shirts are a bit boring and I tend to wear thermal under layers rather than a sweater

It's all our club stocks. I have a club shirt for matches and a few jumpers but to be honest it's expensive. I't decent makes (cally shirts and Glenmuir jumpers) but I just want stuff I can where elsewhere without the club badge plastered all over it

would do, but our club has adopted lime green as it's club "strip" for the next 2 years.

i play in league matches, but seeing as i have enough polo shirts to play in a different one every saturday for the next decade, i wasn't going to buy another one that gives me the boak.

have a few branded glenmuir sweaters though, which are nice, but warmer than what i'd normally wear to play golf in so they tend to get few outings.

Have a couple of club shirts , a scratch team top and mid handicap shirt

Wear them during club matches

All the items in the club shop are club badge branded and I've got about 5 different shirts from there which I'm happy to wear either at my club or represent the club when I play elsewhere. With it being a new golf club, I guess it's good for them as it gets the clubs name around.

I don't own any shirts from my home club but have over 40 from clubs in Spain, Portugal and USA. If I see a decent shirt when I play abroad then I have to have it.
I must be the Imelda Marcos of golf tops.

I swore I would only buy club branded gear as and when I was called up to play for the club, our club stuff is pretty nice made by foot joy, Oscar Jacobs and pro quip. But just as I got called up I was made aware or a club rebranding going on.

I wasn't going to spend money on a item that would be deemed " the old Farleigh top " thus meaning I would need another one.

As it stands our new stuff shoUld be in just in time for our next inter club match and should I be called up again... Of course I'll buy a tee and pull over in club colours.
