I bought this model of golf Buddy because of the type of view of each hole you get , *it's not just a number it appears like a course guide. You get a layout of bunkering , hazards and you can just hit a point on the screen and it will give u distances to the hole and from the tee.When you first *turn on golf buddy it will recognise the course, the hole and automatically start the round ounce you step on to the tee.Another major reason I bought it is threre's no subscription for downloading courses. When I turned it on first it didn't actually have my home club on the unit or the Web site which was annoying, I emailed golf buddy and requested they put my course up. I emailed them on a sunday they had the course up on the friday which was impressive and the layout and yardages are perfect. The website is easy to use and the software download is straight forward.*The only down side I can find is the sensitivity of the screen is a bit slow and annoying, and pushing the touch screen buttons on the bottom of the screen is awkward because of the raised edges, both can be overcome by using a tee and neither bothers me that much. I think id give it's nine out of ten so definitely recommend it's.
