As well as taking the latest edition of GM to Gran Canaria with me, can any of you recommend any good golfing books for me to read whilst away. Many hours will be spent by the pool so I need something to pass the sun away....

I already have Darren Clarke's Open Story that I am contemplating taking away with me if I can't find anything else.

Thanks

I'v got Seve's official autobiography, looking forward to reading that and as homer says any of the Bob Rotella Books.

If you're really sad you could take a copy of the R&A rules and memorize them.

Asked the same question myself earlier in the year when we went skiing and was recommended Sam sneads education of a golfer. It's a great read and a look at a different generation.

I have already read Seve's book. That was good, and I read an unofficial Rory Mcilroy biography a year or two ago. I saw a Miracle at Medinah book that caught my eye. Anybody had a read of that?

Jon Daly's book was very very good, as was Seve's. The Big Miss by Hank Haney was an interesting read, but not as immersive as the two I have previously mentioned.

Ive read it, quite a good book. Gets all the action form the week, and even though you know what happens its stilla great account of all the action.

A few i really like are tales from q school, Bobby open, a good walk spoiled, Monty's Manor.

Ive just started afternoons with mr hogan. So far so good, got this and a few others to get through.

Bud, Sweat and Tees by Rich Beem is an interesting read. If you're downloading to a reader, John Hoskison has some good e-books on Amazon.

Who's that Irish caddy that did a newspaper column that was then turned into 2 books about his experiences on tour?

Got them both at home but cant recall the name...

Caddy For Life
Four Iron in the Soul
Tommy's Honour

...are the 3 I would recommend

Agree.

Reading Tommy's Honour and Caddy for Life you might find you get something in your eye at the end.

I'd add Jack Nicklaus's autobiography. A biggish book with fascinating insights and attention to detail but without being in the least bit boring or bombastic. Just like the man himself.
