Hi All

I'm off to Aus in the middle of April, I may have mentioned this before (haha I love saying it), and I'm looking to buy a couple of books for my travels.

Can anyone recommend some good golf books and if you have any to steer clear of?

Thanks in advance

Not golf books but these are definately worth reading....

* Watch out for the Aussie Nasties
* Never Smile at a Crocodile
* The Deadly Box Jellyfish
* The Deadly Irukandji Jellyfish
* Poisonous Spiders: Funnelwebs Aren't Funny
* Stingrays, Blue-Ringed Octopus, Snakes, Cone Shells,
Stonefish

To name but a few

Have fun :D

Bob Rotella - your 15th Club is a brilliant read, however rather short. I wouldn't bother with Golf is not a Game of Perfect

Interesting... I actually think Golf is not a game of perfect is his best one!!!

But yeah +1 to Homer. Anything by Rotella is great.

I also really liked golf is not a game of perfect, I thought it was a very good book. Wasn't that keen on 4 iron in the soul to be honest. I am Reading john daly's life in and out of the rough and that isn't bad. The Rich Beem book is my next one I think.

I've only read Golf is not a game of perfect but thought it was really good. Each to their own I suppose.

A Golfers Life By Arnold Palmer is worth a read.

I knew of his reputation as very attacking player but was a bit surprised even when he was leading on the final day of Majors he never played the safe option.

He is also worried about the lack of standeds in the game today. I think he must be mortified when he saw Tiger Woods spitting on the green.

All the Rotella books are great, as are dave pelz.

Not a golf book as such but a book called "Bounce-How Champions are made" written by Matthew Syed,a fomer top tabler tennis player, its an insight ,and evidence, as to why certain people become great at something, touches on Tiger woods, bill gates, warren buffet, bjorn borg etc. i found it totally fascinating great read, completely dispels the myth that there are "naturally gifted" people
