On Saturday I shut my car boot onto my driver snapping the shaft. This was a bit annoying as I'd finally found one that I could hit consistantly.

So after trawling eBay and auctions going for stupid money, thought I'd try Golf Bidder. Found almost exactly the same driver apart from the bias for £65 delivered. So went for it. Took yesterday off to await delivery, arrived at midday. Club was in pretty good nick and very happy with the service recieved.

Went down my course played 9 holes with it felt nice seems to have a lower ball flight possibly fades a little more. So now just a matter of a bit of practice with it :D

Although GB tend to be a little expensive they seem to be to be a very honest and reliable company with very quick dispatch times.

Enjoy your club.

I've had positive experiences with in buying and selling from GolfBidder.

They are a fantastic company to deal with IMO. A tad on the expensive side and sometimes their estimates when looking to sell to them can come back lower than expected but other than that, they're very good.

Joke of a company who offer peanuts for your bats, they actually insult your intelligence with their derisory offer. For that reason alone I will never ever use them.

Have never traded or sold anything to them but bought my 4 wood off them for a great price, found their rating of the club to be excellent.

There prices for 2nd hand goods do seem rather OTT especially for some of the older stuff.

ive only bought from them and found it a first class expierience although you are in a way paying for it with there prices being a bit more expensive but descriptions and delivery times cannot be faulted.

I will concede that to you. I bought a putter off of them years ago which was classed as an "8" and I thought it was brand new when it arrived.

Cant agree with that on any level - they are a business who has to make a profit and to do that they offer a service. They can't buy high and sell low so they have to buy at market prices and sell at market prices - if people weren't happy with their prices they wouldn't use them. I'd rather have a guarantee, the ability to return the club if its wrong and the knowledge that I wasn't buying a counterfeit club. Selling and buying on ebay is chore you don't know what you're buying the prices can be daft and descriptions are too subjective. I've used golfbidder quite a bit to buy and sell they are professional well run and you can rely on them.

Incidentally the price you want for your G20 driver on the classifieds is the same as Golfbidders price!

I've used them half a dozen times to buy clubs and everytime the service has been perfect, couldn't rate them highly enough. The prices are higher than ebay but you have the reassurance that you know exactly what you're getting.

The one on eBay went for £55 plus the £10 delivery charge. So I've paid an extra fiver for the driver that I brought, and have it for the weekend. Not the middle of next week.

All in all not to much difference in the end. Off for a knock again tonight to get used to it.

I've used them a lot given that they're also based within 20 mins of me so I can actually pick up the club. I have always found them easy to deal with and having the driving range just round the corner means that I have taken a couple of clubs away and then returned one under their 'no quibble' return.

In terms of the sale price I haven't found it that expensive although if they are then I don't mind paying a small premium for the knowledge that clubs are legit and I can return which you can't on eBay.

Their purchase prices are on the lower side however I don't really mind that as they are a business so you can't expect them to compete with a private sale. I will always bung my stuff on eBay to make that little bit more (in theory) although I guess it depends if you have the time.

Oh Dear God. I agree 100% with a craw post. The end of the world must be nigh.

Nah! Order is resumed...I don't agree.

Prices offered may be low but service is A1. You don't need to take their price, nor buy from them. I've bought a few clubs and been perfectly satisfied. I realise that the company has to both be competitive and make a profit and prices aren't excessive.

Not sure whether they are true to their original concept - to provide a guaranteed outlet for trade-ins for Pro shops - but that was a 'good and noble' one that worked pretty well.

I've only used them to get rid of clubs and I've gone in person to the store just off the A3. I've got a quote online and when I've rocked up and they have seen the condition they've upped the price between £50-80 without too much quibbling.
