Two of us played in rather misty murky grey conditions today. I was playing with a yellow ball while my playing companion was using a white ball. The former was much easier to track as it flew through the air. The white ball often seemed to disappear against the sky. Moral - use a yellow ball in cloudy or misty conditions! :)

Lost a white AD333 today and found a yellow AD333 exactly where I imagined my white one would be. Must admit, in the greying conditions I found it easier to track. However, they all look the same after they've plugged.

If you are struggling to see the ball in the air then either go to Specsavers or it's too foggy to play

I had a check up at Specsavers about a month ago and my vision with specs or contact lenses was perfect. White golf balls against white or grey clouds are quite difficult to see. I had no problem tracking the yellow ball in those conditions. :)

Played today at Cuddington, and it was misty the whole round. You could just about see the greens from the tees on the par 4's. Not dangerous, but a white ball against the mist was virtually impossible to see land. I am sure a yellow ball would have helped. Managed to get round without losing a ball which is always a result.

Always use yellow in winter as soon as the leaves start to brown and you get morning dew. Much easier to see both on the floor and in the air. The Callaway Hex Series Optic Yellow are possibly the brightest and stand out more than most.

Too many leaves to use yellow balls, they blend too much, white are easier to see on the ground. Shocking pink could be the answer!
