Does anyone want to reccomend a good bag for me.

I have 14 clubs in my bag and am looking for a new bag I use a different bag for summer and winter.

I also have a 3 wheeler trolley if this matters please write back.

I can't vote, as I have most of them. I have a carry bag for if I have to carry, I have a cart bag for my leccy trolley, and a tour bag which I have always used on holiday (either buggy golf or with a caddy, I'm not going to carry it).

Not sure where this survey is going, as most people have whatever bag suits their purpose. If you need a new bag, you must know whether you are going to carry or not, and if you are going to use a trolley more often than not, then you need a trolley bag.

Fair play, i'm 17 and carry in the winter but I worked my
a*se off so that I could afford an electric trolley which I use in the summer and club matches.

You play Bootle dont you Mono, its that flat you could kick your clubs round :)

Have you got a carry bag now,buy a trolley bag or vice versa

Mono217...

A stand bag will be the most veratile if you only want one bag. Now although they are not ideal when on a cart. Most modern stand bags have the ability to lock up their legs for when using a trolley.

Personally I have stand bags, cart bags & a Tourbag too. Generally Tour bags are for those who want to show off a bit, but can just as easily look a prat, as oposed to simply showing off golf bag bling.

So really I can't vote, as I like all the bags I've got for different reasons. Though generally I will use my Bennington Cart bag nearly all year long, only going to a stand bag over winter or when I can't, or not bothered to take my electric trolley. Though even then I've been known to carry my Bennington cart bag on occasion as the single strap is very well padded.

Some manufactuers do a double strap carry bag that sits comfortably on a trolley. I think the Mizuno Twister is one such beast. Two birds one stone!

I've started carrying my bats rather than using the trolley, ive got a mizuno gtx stand bag with double straps which also locks the stand when on the trolley.

mono mate,

for your qoute to make sense:

"Money talks mine keeps saying goodbye"

you need a comma

"Money talks, mine keeps saying goodbye"

I assume as you're only 15 you are studying GCSE English? I'm not being a d*ck, i'm an education professional who works at the UKs larged exam board and this breaks my heart.

Mono,

What difference does a different course make?

Number of holes should make no difference at your age. We walked to the course, played 18 holes, had lunch, played 18 and walked home again at your age.

Get on with it young man.

This gets my vote for post of the year.

I use to open the shop and then play 18 in the morning once the pro arrived, work in the pro shop on my feet all afternoon and go out and play another 18 in the evening and I always carried. Once I had finished for the day I then had to walk a mile to the bus stop and a mile home from where the bus dropped me. I use to do that 7 days a week so you've no excuses.

I get to the course for the crack of dawn play 18 have a bite to eat do another 18 then practice until i cant see then go to the clubhouse for a game of pool and a drink.

*drink(coke).

I am really loyal to the game.

If you're gonna pull someone up on their grammar i'd check the post for typos first, before actually submitting. ;)

Come on Mickey, You should know Mono begins with a capital M. And Quote is spelt u o not o u.

Larged? Largest by any chance? :D

Anyway where you been, you not about much any more?

Back to the O.P. I have only ever had a carry bag, I always carry.

Fairplay Mono,

I have a new carry bag, as carrying is an extra notch on the 'keep fit' offensive. But if I'm playing 36 holes or more (rare), I have a Hippo cart bag which sits properly on the trolley without spinning.

Nothing worst then getting towards the end of the second round and having less energy for those all important final holes.
