Does anyone use the above? I currently have a bag with 14 dividers so don't need them right now, however may be getting a new one with 7 dividers shortly and was wondering if these are any good to stop bag clatter on the shafts?

Yep, have 3 that fit together neatly in one of my carry bags' dividers, keep the graphite-shaft woods in there and they do the trick. If they didn't fit together in that divider though they'd come out with the club every time you pull it out of the bag, so could get annoying.

Hi Davey
Had these years back, the clubs were forever sticking in the tubes and then the tube came out with the club. Threw them away within a month.

I found bag tubes caused scuffs on the shafts.

I noticed it on my hybrid, which was the only club in a tube and was the only one with a scuff/rub.

If you're going to get them, make sure you pad the tops to prevent rubbing.

Don't use them on anything with a graphite shaft!

I have a 13 top divider bag and use them on alternate slots to prevent snagging on other clubs. Work a treat now but I did have clubs with thicker grips and they occasionally got stuck if you didn't pull straight out.

If you want a few I've got spares. Just pm me.

My pro said that they will definitely weaken any graphite shafts from the friction. He also suggested that the same, although not to the same degree, would be true of any shaft material.

In other words, don't use them!
