Has anybody been on these and found them any good? Got told about them a while back and had been looking into a few at St andrews but got an email from a competing magazine and got one closer to home so won't need to get accommodation....

In August got a 2 day course at dalmahoy with Scott cranfield(?) and his team of pros. Day 1 on short game, day 2 long game- 4 hour lesson in morning each day then 3 hour on course lesson after lunch

My Dad has been to a few of these things, one in the UK and three times in Portugal. I'm not sure how useful he found them to be honest - definitely good trips and very enjoyable, not sure he found they helped his game hugely.

To my mind, you need time between lessons to practice what is taught, you can't fix everything at once and too many swing thoughts is not a good place to find yourself.

I would prefer to spread the lessons out over a couple of months with perhaps 1 or 2 weeks between each one.

I've seen these advertised. To be honest I'm not too keen. I prefer to have a lesson, even an hour in length, go away and work for a few range sessions on what I was shown and the drills I was given. These courses seem like tuition overload with not much time to bed in or practice what you learned.
