Hi All,

Hopefully i am posting this in the right place. I have played Golf for many of years and bought some Calaways several years ago now. When i bought these i was offered some free lessons as i spent quite a bit.

The problem is since these lessons i have changed something in my swing which has made my play alot worse.

Now i'm trying to get back into the swing  of it as i spent quite a bit.

Can anyone advise of any good training aids? I wanna start again and see how it goes.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris, why rather than buying a gadget, do you not consider getting another lesson or 2? maybe look at group sessions to make it cheaper?

Alot of the gadgets or training aids, may have a specific problem area they are trying to fix, but if you dont know what that is, its going to be a lottery. A decent pro will have your grip stance and posture sorted quickly and then you could start to work on progress from there?

Welcome along. Have to agree with Rooter. lessons would be a better use of cash rather than buying gizmos. I've been a sucker for loads of these over the years and always start out with good intentions and sooner rather than later they end up in the spare room or my locker at the club

Anytime I read about golf training aids i always think of Rene Russo in Tin Cup and then Costner using them later :D

I'm sure there are aids out there that are useful - alignment sticks etc and I'm sure there are some proper dodgy gadget about

If you are unable to get lessons etc try watching some vids on you tube or reading some mags which could give you some pointers

"gold" training aid - I guess that's means you'll be booking Butch Harmon.

Best training aid is between you ears - just add to some time.
