Am trying to persude hubby that Go Karts are needed by us given the amount of golf we're playing etc etc. If I can persuade him would you go for manual or automatic. Also, do you think we'd get any discount if we bought two trolleys.....

We both had Go Karts and they're fine but now I have a Sun Mountain Speed Cart and David just changed his Speed Cart to a Stewart Z3 as the spokes on the SM were a niggly problem (different model to mine)...

As Wolfie has stated - no battery hassle and very light and manouverable.

I really can't see the hassle with a Gokart battery - simplicity itself!

Each to their own I suppose.

It is simple - until you forget to take it :o Problem also with the GoKart is the battery is an integral part of the structure of the trolley so without it you're in trouble.

I have a GoKart and it is a great bit of kit can't think why you would not go for the auto either.

As for forgetting the battery, I have never forgotten mine or my clubs for that matter. It just becomes part of your golfing kit when you load the car.

Go Kart automatic all day every day. Robust, compact, great customer service and the automatic is simplicity itself. I have never forgotten the battery and it just sits in the spare room on standby charge next to my clubs

I did just that - recently. Went to play 9 holes after work and realised I'd forgotten the flippin battery!

Had to hire a club push trolley thing  A real pain that was.

I wont forget it again!!

Please don't tell me you've done this??

You'd have to be nuts to forget the battery for your "power" trolley :) :)

Haha that's hilarious :)

Thanks for all your replies everyone but he's not convinced about us needing electric trolleys.

Perhaps I should start another thread but here goes:

Amanda, pink Sun Mountain cart- do they still do them and if so where did you get it from. Would prefer a purple trolley but don't think that's an option done by anyone.

Clic Gear 3 and Stewart Z1 - know these are older models but which is best out these two as I've found them at £159 and £139 respectively or would you say Sun Mountain would be best for him.
