I have a GoKart automatic trolley with the standard umbrella holder.

I have a bit of an issue i'm 6'2" and I find with my umbrella up my head hits the top of the umbrella so I end up walking hunched over. My umbrella is the Cleaveland one and I mount it as high as I can on the holder.

Anyone else have this problem or is my umbrella just a bit short?

Was thinking of swapping for the Motocaddy one but do not know if this will just be the same?

I'm 5'10" and can't really see ahead of me when my brolley is up on my GoKart. Not much to do really. I tried tilting the holder back and it just shook the brolley so much it was pointless having it in.

I have a PGA umberaller I got in the sale at AG in Jan. I think it's standard size for a golf brolley.

I tried carrying the umbrella one round this worked OK, I would sit it in the umbrella holder while I played my shot. The wind then blew it out and smacked me on the funny bone with the spike so given up on that idea.

Comparing it to my friends is appears the holder on the GoKart is much lower than other trolleys

I had the umbrella holder on my GK but I found with the umbrella in it never stayed upright and would tilt and fall over. I don't use it anymore. When it was upright I struggled to see where I was going (I'm six feet) and that was with a number of different umbrella's

I can see fine with mine. I'm 6'1".

I have a Ping umbrella and I brought the Go-Cart and holder about 6 months ago. So I might have a new holder I guess.

That being said, it's still a little unstable in the wind for my liking. But I think that is probably more to do with the trolley design than the holder itself.

I had a look on the website and the image for the holder looks the same but on the automatic the umbrella holder appears to sit a little lower than the manual
