Going to Wentworth for the Championship

I was thinking of going to Wentworth this year to watch some good players.

Do you know what you get for the £30 ticket? Are you forced to pick your spot on one hole and stay there all day or can you move around following the player you want?

You can go where you want outside the ropes - you can pick one spot, move around, a bit of both, or sit in the pub at the tented village and watch it on the big screen.

The green of the 11th/tee of the 12th is a popular spot, as is the green of the 14th/tee of the 15th area. Some decent sausage sandwiches available around there too.

For me, I tend to go to the practice area, then the chipping green, then stand behind the first for a couple of groups, follow one up the first few holes, cut across from the 6th green to the 12th green, head up to the 14th green, have a sandwich, then maybe follow a group in.

If you want to bag a good spot such as right behind the tee at the 1st, get there early!

If you arrive in a BMW, you can park a bit close in!
