Travelling down to Celtic Manor in July, and was wondering if anyone could recommend courses on the way down to stop, stay and play? Travelling from Glasgow.

Hawkstone Park near Shrewsbury is about 2- 2.5 hours from Celtic Manor and has 2 courses The Hawkstone course is the better. 1 night Dinner B&B and 2 rounds is about £89. The accommodation is varied from just OK to good, food I vey good and they will do deal o wine (price on menu is extortionate!!)
