Looking for a few bits for the upcoming season. bag, shoes ect. Who is the go to mail order firm. Having read about the company that has now gone down the pan, it would be nice to know of the place you lads use and trust

My first port-of-call is usually www.thegolfshoponline.co.uk who have always given me excellent service although stock levels on the website aren't always accurate to best to check with them first.

I also use Clubhouse Golf (http://clubhousegolf.co.uk/ ) and Online Golf (http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk), who are just American Golf rebranded but often a good bit cheaper.

No affiliation to any of these, btw.
 
Snainton has a very good reputation.

I've used CG Discount Golf quite a bit too - Carlisle Golf - and even visited their shop (in Carlisle) on one of my ventures up to Scotland.

TheSportsHQ is also one of my favourites - for good quality clothes.

Of course, none of these are immune to market forces, so Paypal/Credit Card or other 'safe' payment method is always recommended. GBIO's demise - after trading for so long - was a bit of a surprise, even if it's final throes signs were pretty obvious!
 
It wasnt that long ago that GBIO would have been on my list.
 
Deffo golfsupport. Check them out. Guarantee to be cheapest online. Bonus that the shop is only a couple of miles away so I can pop in.

but, I have been getting some bits and bobs from club shop, quoting prices elsewhere, ;-) not playing one off against the other but if golf support can do it for ? Price and it's a bit more elsewhere then where are you gonna go.

excellent services every time, from a good set of lads.
 
COUNTY GOLF in ECCLES great bunch of lads who know what they are talking about and dont try and sell you stuff that they get the best profit on,they price match and the shop is very easy to find if you need to call in always a nice bit of banter and the last time i called i was lucky to be there when a rep was buying the bacon butties and coffee,

If you mean the shop in Weaste, Eccles, it`s now Clubhouse Golf, 6inchcup mate
 
Usually use snainton, clubhouse golf

But also use golfbase, seem it have limited sizes in some things but prices are good and they do free delivery and returns (which can be very useful)

Just 13 mins after your post I posted about a purchase I made today from my Club Pro (FootJoy DryJoy).
He's without a doubt my first choice of supplier matching any other on price.
