I am looking at buying an electric trolley to take the strain out of pulling my present trolley. I would appreciate the opinions of owners of the Go Kart Trolley with respect to ease of use, reliability and company service.

I am a fan. I bought one about 8 weeks ago and love the fact it's light, folds down small (get a carry bag with it) and goes like a rocket. Also it's very stable on the hills round our track and, apparently, their aftersales is legendary. As I had a good battery already I was able to buy one without a battery and it was £209 + £25 for the bag and they gave me a free brolly holder.

He he, this should be an interesting thread!

Had one for about 3 years and love it. Just bought a new battery to get some zip back, but the trolley is great. Simple to use, goes for 27 holes easy on an 18 hole battery, good extras and yes, the aftersales is amazing. Sandy is a. Legend

Get one, you won't be disappointed. :)

Ugly, good value but they break. But they look after their customers really well whenever their plastic pig breaks.

Is that a fair assessment? ;)

Forget the plastic pig jibes. I've had mine about three years now and had an issue with a battery and the bungee at the bottom breaking and both replaced the next day.

Small, lightweight, easily put up, goes in a small FIesta boot with ease, 18 hole battery does 36 if you need it to (don't do it regularly though) and THE best after sales service around.

Not got one, and have taken the p left right and centre. But, seems to be a solid product backed up by a bomb proof customer service. You can't seem to wrong really.

Unlike hillbilly.

plastic pig though.

My recommendation : DO NOT BUY ONE!!!!

I've had mine for 18 months

- It has been back to their factory twice with a failed motor / bearings

- The battery would not do more than 14 holes after 8 months, so that had to be replaced.

- One of the plastic clips broke that holds the thing together.

- Now my motor has started to make a horrible noise again. A pre cursor to it packing up.

Yes, their after sales support is good. But is it natural that so many people rave about it ? If there were no problems with this trolley it would not even be mentioned.

Mine has to go back again, and you know what, I just cant be arsed to go through it again and will probably just bin the thing.

I have to be honest and say you are the only person I know who has had that many problems. There are lots of users at my club and that I speak to elsewhere and they have all said how happy they are. My advice would be to write down the full list of problems and send it to Sandy at GK and see what they say. There must be a reason why yours in particular seems so jinxed
