I think we need to get something going on this. Can you please vote on the above poll if you would be happy to help organise on a committee or individual basis for the national comp or if you would be happy to arrange your region. Please comment below which region you would be happy to look after as applicable.

Last year was a great success and it would be a shame to let it fall by the wayside this year. I'm happy to work on a committee and get the ground rules of the comps set out.

Please register interest by Friday 14th November at which point I shall contact those interested to try and get things underway. If Virtuocity can send me anything to help with the planning then it would be appreciated?

Could Mods make this a sticky for a short while please?

Ok we will still need people to step forwards and help with the organising of regional qualifiers at the very least.

there are a couple of offers on that thread to, I think most of last years regional organisers are still active its the head honcho which is the main issue, a committee to share the work seems the best option at present once use of GM name and backing is approved

I will happily organize a regional meet at my Club. Should be about £45 for bacon rolls/coffee, 18 holes, and ham,egg and chips afterwards. This is a winter rate, but only goes up to the end of March. Seem to remember this is when we played regional events last year. If KOK doesn't go ahead can still have a meet if there is enough interest.

Cheers Richart I guess that would just about sneak into the South East if we use the same regional structure as last year?

I didn't see the option, but I vote for Rich also:thup:

I seem to be in quite a good catchment area being in the mid south. I know there are quite a few forumers within an hour or so.

Personally hope it is stableford, as medal round my course is not easy. Fairly tight and loads of heather.

dont mind helping sort out, happy to do a regional, not sure which course or what the region would constitute (in millton keynes were usually in the middle of 4 or 5 regions lol)
