Did any of you guys take advantage of the golf insurance for as little as £22.49.. with that you get 3 free rounds of golf..1 at any of 14 merriot courses , 1 at any of 16 at DeVere, 1 of 5 at Q hotels .. surely even if you didnt want the insurance the golf would be worth it ??I wonder is there catches with the golf, such as the free must be 1 of a paying 4 ball or something ?? has to be worth it if there no catches like that .. hasnt it ?/ im not linked to the insurance company in any way by the way ..

I'm with Carrick & Neill. Pretty good cover and I got a clause written in concerning theft from my locker were it to get broken into (only an extra £5 per annum) which a lot of others didn't seem to cover and it seemed a god idea as there a spate of thefts at the time

Teegirl has just taken out golf insurance and she got loads of free stuff.
Green fees, shoe bag, spa treatments, 2 for 1s etc.
I'm sure she'll be along soon to give you the lowdown on what she got.

Good company Homer, they specialise in golf insurance in Scotland and indeed give cracking deals to SGU member clubs.

The stigma of being English eh? :D

Yep, I took out The Golfers Club Insurance, did it mainly because of the injury cover. If you play away from home a bit and you donk some stranger on the head with a stray ball, apparently you run the risk of a being sued

5 free rounds at all the corporate places. Used one yesterday, had a 4 ball booked but they recalculated the rate and cost me 0. :D

Spoke to a human to set it up and the freebies arrived in 2 days. £29.99 this year, think it is 10.00 more next year but you get the vouchers each year. :D

You never really know until you make a claim, but for peace of mind of not being sued and yesterdays free game means I'm quid's in already. :D

I pay around that for my wife and I.

sure you're not trying to over-insure ? Carrick Neill have been my choice of insures since I was let down by another well known brand who offer lots but deliver little ;)

I also insured with Carrick and Neill, I spoke to a an advisor, to make sure they had the required cover. No freebies, but I dont want any, I just want decent cover.
