I would love to put my name down but I find it hard to fit others timetables around my availability, travel also is something I have to think about. A little nearer wouldnt be a problem but a copuple of hundred miles and family commitments to consider make it difficult for me.

Is it an experiment to test the extent of medwayjons current run of good golfing fortune?

I can just see it.. he'll shoot a 65, win a car , bag at least one hole in one and if he takes a big enough divot he'll strike gold.

I can't compete with that I'm out.

We certainly try to get around the country as much as possible hence the inaguaral challenge match in Scotland and subsequent ones in Yorkshire and Birmingham plus the big irons test in the Midlands but some times logistics dictate we need to needed to base an event at a friendly club close to where we are based and I'm afraid that's the case here

Would love to take part with hubby but it is slightly too far for us, a good 2hour drive, unless of course, Mike, you can provide an overnight stay for me and hubby .

Craig, as for shooting 65, 105 is more likely after sundays debacle, I literally could only just hit anything resembling a golf shot. My driving was awful and my iron play a disgrace. Only consolation was that my short-game is still in good fettle.

It's gonna be a 3 hour drive for me I reckon. But I'm sure that'll be worth it.

I've not still had any confirmation about the 'experiment'!

However I am down to go. So I'm very pleased about it. Course looks nice.
