GM forum Forida meet report

[Hacker Khan]

There was a great turn out today in the inaugural GM Forida meet. Me and HawkeyeMS. Plus we were joined by a Canadian Solicitor/Attorney at law who liked a gimme.

I brought my usual mix of very occasional vague competence and mostly rank hacking of the highest order. HawkeyeMS rather spoilt the spirit of the game by playing rather well, hitting fairways, greens, that kind of boring stuff.

Physically, spirituality, morally and scorecardidly HawkeyeMS won, but I feel golf was the real winner.

Highlight of the day was when our Canadian friend finished on a green and needed to get back to his buggy. But there was a bunker in the way. So instead of walking around it he strode straight across it, not troubling the rake and sped off. Quality.

Our Canadian friend was rather lapse with the rules and general etiquette wasn't he? The bunker incident was brilliant, but in his defence, he did tread rather carefully across the sand so as not to disturb too much of it...and of course he had his caddie (i.e. you) to replace/fill his divots for him
