Looks like there is a number of meets going on around for the next couple of months that could see it being hard to get organised and people playing but I would be up for playing in a few again this year

That's what I thought mate. Really needs someone to pick up the baton in October time.
Given I've had to pull out of Gainsborough, I'm down to only 2 organised meets this year. May organise a mega-meet at my place and another good Scottish course over two days, see if there's interest.

I've thought about posting up a Forum Order Of Merit once the Season kicks off, Similar to the North West Winter League we've got Going at the Moment.
*Anyone could Enter.
*Any forum meet of any size is a qualifier.
*Best 4 Stableford Scores Count over the season.
*Players Copy And paste the League off the thread themselves to Update scores and their league position.
Thats the basic idea Anyway, I suppose it could be Jazzed up a little.
I know it isn't along the same lines of the OP But it's just a simple idea that would run itself for a bit of fun During the season.

Why dont we try and copy the nike matchplay/race to dubai.
1. Pairs matchplay knockout.
2. Regional events first.
3. £40 entry per pair, £20 each (for the accountants amongst us).
4. Once down to 4 or 8 pairs - semi-final and final in same weekend. Bolstered my other forummers to get a great deal.
5. Winners get a holiday at Thracian cliffs in Bulgaria (example), runners up get a weekend away at Royal Lytham (example).
6. No one from Inverness or Cornwall can enter, as they moan too much.
I should really, really shut up.

Pairs is a nightmare getting people together to play and would fall apart imo.
Singles would be a lot easier to sort.
I would help with the admin side but i cannot be taking any money, Aberdeen trip has already got interpol on my case :rofl:
