Just tried cockpit view, and got the google maps version of the Easy Jet flight from Bristol to Newcastle as it landed.

This comes as an app that allows you to check the planes around you. You just hold your phone up and any plane around is tagged with the carrier, type of aircraft, departure point and destination, altitude, speed etc.

Crazy what you can do on a phone these days.

Been on this wonderful site for a long time. I'm located just south of the main Atlantic/Heathrow flight path. The wife followed our flight from Bristol to Alicante back in February ( golf society )
