Hi, my mate and i are thinking of trying to get afternoon tee times playing in Mondays senior open, i know theres a couple of members on here , so any info or help would be good , thanks.

Played there just over a year ago.

I enjoyed the course despite playing very, very badly.

I also found it a bit hard going as there are a lot of hills if I remember rightly.

All I can say is that you'll enjoy the course and well worth a wee trip if you're planning to play a round of golf anyway.

I’ve played it a few times when staying at the hotel. It’s anice course, with the holes along the top of the ridge being the better ones.


However, the greens weren’t ever brilliant, but still wortha knock there, especially if for less than £30.


Don’t cut off too much corner on the 17[SUP]th[/SUP],otherwise your dead. Play for a safe position, maybe even take a hybrid andplay to were you can see, unless you hit a nice controlled draw – if so, riskthe driver.

 
I only remember a nice tiny par 3 across some water, rest was very forgetful imo..........as I've just proven:smirk:
