At 42 Maybe I'm just getting old. Maybe I don't know what the Yoof are into nowadays.

Ive been a couple of times in the late 90s, epic times.

I watched the talented Florence & the machine last night & It just seemed like another one of those happy hazy Glastonbury summer nights, great to watch. It felt familiar..

But tonight.. Absolute Total pants!!
I know Theres much more going on There, but still..

Im predicting One Direction next year.

Ive been a couple of times over the years, epic times.

I'm just watching a re run of Paloma Faith' set as HID went out and missed it. Liked Clean Bandit too but Kanye West?? what dross! But then I am 62!

Saw The Florence set on TV last night and enjoyed it a lot. HID is watching Kanye. What a load of rubbish. Some of the acts in earlier coverage from different stages were quite good but as an old fogey had passed me by

Could have written this myself....

97 first year I went, lifetime ago.

Florence and the Machine were very good last night and first time in a while i wish id been there. This is bobbins tonight though.

I was annoyed not to have tickets this year (Was on a course so left a mate to buy tickets who overslept as he was hungover). Was gutted when i saw libertines where playing.

Did he used to do the voice for the Darleks?

Was commenting to the better half last evening how this years line up was a bit weak compared with other years. Always exceptions though. Florence, Gaz Coombes(ex Supergrass) was worth a look too. Will give Weller an The Who a look tonight. Chris Evans mentioned The Buzzcocks playing on one of the lesser stages tonight but I can't find them in the line up?

Went in late 80's and early 90s but havent been since planning to go in 2017 for my 50th but other half insisting on glamping, line ups have been a bit hit and miss for last few years on the main stages, but plenty of other choices on the other stages and if I had gone this year would have given main stages a miss for Saturday and watched some of the lesser bands..... (wouldnt have missed Motorhead on Friday though).... hoping for a stellar line up in 2017 might drop Ms Eavis an e-mail with my requests ... Fri night the Cure, Saturday night Artic Monkeys and Sunday (ideally reformed Smiths) but anyone with a bit of energy Foo Fighters ? ..

Lionel Richie???????

Kanye West???

Dolly parton????

Without wanting to sound like an elitist.

What a crock of absolute commercial poop. Glasto should be about crustys in a field all off there heads on shrooms and weed.

The guff they serve up these days is almost an antithesis of what it was supposed to all be about back in the day.

I say again

Lionel Richie!!!!!!!????????

What!!!!!??????

You missed out Burt Bacharach :)

I like the mix of artists, (apart from Kanye Kardashian) , The whole thing of Glasto is that it is family orientated, there are so many stages and so many acts and so many sideshows that there is literally something for everyone. ( one reason why I thought Kanye was inappropriate because of the language in some (all) of his "songs".

Take Burt Bacharach for example, I thought he was already dead, but at 87 he was up on stage, this man is responsible for some of the greatest hits in the history of popular music. just look at his writing credits, its amazing. I was watching with my 3 daughters (21. 19 , 17) yesterday and they kept saying " Oh this song was done by xxxx in 2003, and we would say , " actually it was done by Dionne Warwick 30 years previously. The girls simply were unaware of the guys pedigree, despite knowing 90% of his songs.

its a great mix of talent and there will ALWAYS be someone somewhere that you want to go see.

The Who were simply poor, very sad to see. Reminded me of the Rolling Stones in 2013. Florence & The Machine were excellent and Paloma Faith always delivers. As for Kanye West....WTF? The Sparks/Franz Ferdinand collaboration was interesting and entertaining if just a tad bizarre - I wonder who made that phone call.
