Anyone game for a knock in Glasgow or close surrounding area....

if not recommendations near Strathaven or Loch Lomond for less than £40 or a good twilight would be welcome, as haven't booked my hotel yet.

Windyhill looks fun and not far from one hotel option, for£25 seems good value also - recommend?

Never played windy hills but I think it's fine, haven't heard negative reviews. Another good option in that vicinity is Hilton park, although I might be biased since my dad was a member and it's one of the places I learned to play.

If you are still looking for a game on Thursday or Friday, you are welcome for a freebie at my course Bellshill gc .
Oh it doesn't say your age or gender in your profile. The reason i mention it , theres a male seniors open comp for 55 and over at Erskine gc on Thursday and its not too far from where you're staying.

Just let me know if you want a game at my gaff

Thanks for the offer William.

i am a spring chicken, so would have been to young! we'll 43 anyway.

I'm off to Stranraer tomorrow, so out of the area.

BTW windy hill was great, play there lovely course with great views, but very hilly. A 4 over gross for me helped though, and at £25 was a steal.
