Dropped into this new place today and it looks pretty impressive. They've obviously spent a lot of cash on the decor, bar and the 6 golf simulators. The simulators are better than I had imagined and much better than the ones at the Scottish Golf Show back inm April at Ingliston. £30/£40 an hour but probably good value if you and 3 mates went along. 221 West George Street, city centre. www.thegolflounge.co.uk

Sounds very similar to Urban Golf in London. A really good night for a social - a few beers and 18 holes on the simulators.

Know that urban golf is around a load of cities not sure if it's in Manchester but well worth checking out their website.

Perfect evening entertainment...especially with the weather like it is
