I am collecting friends next week and looked at the new parking arrangements....complicated.
It looks like £28 an hour at short stay....long stay is free for first 30 mins but I can't see any charges after that.

Any advice on the best way to do this would be appreciated.
£2 pick up option is not possible.
I would need at least an hours parking to feel 'relaxed' and feel £56 is a bit steep.

Most of the taxi firms have a place to park up around an airport and get you to text when they are in baggage reclaim and have picked up, then its a matter of just driving in to pick up.

Must be possible to do something like that ?

Do you need to go into the terminal or can they come and get you?

If they can make their own way out I would just pull in at the start of the drop off area and wait there. If you get moved you can just do a lap (drive out and back in again) by then the should be ready waiting for you.

Not sure if there are any changes to lay out as it a couple of years since I was there in the car.

Park up in paisley first and get them to call or text when they are at the pick up zone then go and pick them up and pay the £2. Journey from Paisley near the parks is no more than a 5 minutes

It's all changed, you can't do that anymore

Sorted now. Thanks for help.
I can park in car park one for £10 for up 3 hours.
I was trying to advance book it and the 'machine' was only giving me the most expensive option.

No problems on dropping off for the return, just collecting.
