Getting large advert pop ups today

I havent changed anything but have IPC?

I'm getting large (Half the screen) advert pop ups usually about movies- one was evil dead and would rather not have my wee one see it-, it can be free of them for 10 mins then 2 or 3 within minutes.

Is there a setting within the forum I can use to block?

That won't be anything to do with the forum. What browser are you using to view the forum on? If it's Chrome download and install AdBlock. I'd also recommend running a scan of Malware Bytes.

Running Google Chrome myself here, only just got laptop back after having new HDD replacement and no ads here. Try running antispyware/virus software

I'm on a different pc now and also getting them but just on the GM forum pages

I was getting this and have realised that ads on right side of header area pop up if you roll over them. Disconcerting when it first happens but now learning to avoid them. Can be a bit annoying but I guess it helps pay for the forum so shouldn't complain I s'pose.

yup, it's def the forum (ran malware and ad free), if your mouse gets near these adverts top right they burst into large video's. will now avoid.

Adblock will stop this from happening.
