Since 11th May I've played 9 rounds - on 9 different courses, and 4 of them were first time visits... I'm sure it's not done anything for my scores, but I've certainly enjoyed the variety.

What's the most rounds on separate courses you've played (discounting golf holidays)? or do you prefer to stay "home"?

With not been a member of a course as I just couldn't justify the cost I jump around most of the courses in the area so probably about 8 in the last 6 months most recent been today at Forrest pines for the first time and have to say it was great as you say I don't think it helps with my score but just enjoy playing different courses at the moment.

Excluding five courses in five days in Northern Ireland as that was a golfing holiday I've played ten different courses this year - got another two in the next week too - total cost of the ten so far is less than £150 and there have been some cracking course in there

Played a lot of different and new courses this year and loving it - lost count but some cracking courses

pretty much every weekend I played a new course in the Merseyside area over the winter period whilst waiting to join lee park when it dried out!

felt like I was on the tour. missing cuts but on the tour! lost count of how many!

my last one on Saturday was Forest Pines too!

How strange, played the beeches and forest loops. Compared to the other courses I play over here it blew them all out the water I loved every minute of it. I've been building up to going for some time but wanted to get a little more consistent with my game before hacking it round as I'd heard it can get quite busy and I worry about holding people up which makes me the rush but we took it steady and took the day in and still got round in just over 3 hours, almost went too quick.

What did you think to it?

yeh really liked it, we did Pines-Beeches (pines was the better half). Certainly helps if you're knocking it straight with all those trees!!
Not busy at all teeing off at 7am!
