This guy came to our pit a couple of years before it closed Lord knows why. He made it quite clear that he did not want to see any of the workmen, never mind talk to any of them about the uncertainty of there jobs. He went under ground had a look around for five mins. Came up the pit, had a butty and went home. By all accounts he was not the nicest of people.
But how the Eck can he be an editor of a London newspaper and hold Lord knows how many jobs whilst serving us. How can he be impartial.
I know that he is not the only one that has more then one job, but is this latest move not a " straw that broke the camels back" moment.
Should MPs be able to hold positions which could cause " conflict of interests".
Thoughts please me dears.

agree, its one thing to write a column for a paper, (Boris) its another thing to be the editor and possibly steer that paper in a particular political direction whilst still being an MP.

I say he should vacate his seat and I class myself as a Middle England Brexit supporting Tory

I used to live in knutsford, his constituency, called Tatton. It used to be the constituency of Neil Hamilton. If ever there was a constituency where you could put a blue rosette on a pig and it would win it is Tatton. It is impossible to be a constituency mp of a north west seat and edit a London daily newspaper. It's a nonsense but the locals won't kick him out.

He is certainly on a mission to bring in the money. Kerchinggggg Osborne.

Must be nice to have friends in 'high' places and what a Role Model !!!

My parents always said if you work hard, are honest, moral and personable then merit will show through. I wonder should I give the same advice to my grandchildren !!!
