Had my third lesson the other day - concentrating on the short game now, which has always been my bête noire. Not much progress so far but he's adamant it will come right in the end. He's given me stuff to practice & told me to change nothing. Says he's never failed to sort anyone out & is confident things will come right. Back up to 10 now & first round of the handicap knockout next Thursday so I hope it soon comes together. Great coach though, never fails to have a word when he comes past on the range.

Had a lesson yesterday, plenty food for thought. Gary recorded me hitting 7 iron and Driver. After a drill it illustrated that my Driver stance was too far apart, and I had too much spinal tilt.
The feeling is to turn more centred which I did with the irons.
So I have a drill to work on both at home and at the range.
He also said I have no wrist hinge post impact, which we will look at next time.
Lesson was for 30 minutes, but I got 45 minutes with no clock watching
