Garmin S1 GPS watch

It's down to €140 in my local American Golf. Would it be worth taking a punt and buying one? Are they as good as people say?

I feel naked without mine. Great for the approach shot. Yesterday I had a blind 90 yard approach over trees, the Garmin called it perfectly and landed 6 feet from the flag!

cant find one anywhere even garmin say min 3 weeks!!!

I had a Bushnell V2 Laser, sold it to Imurg, and got the S1 Approach instead......much prefer it !
Soooo easy to use, quick glance for Fr/Mid/Back yardages......and away u go.....

Do it, you wont regret it.

It's also great for the odd "off" shot where you may not be on the correct fairway and have no distace markers! It takes literally 1 second to use it and then choose your club from there.
