Garmin advert hides the drop down options

On my iPad, the latest banner advert across the top obscures the drop down selections , ( quick links, forum actions etc).

Seems to be the new ad...previous one allowed the drop downs to be seen in front of the ad so I could select them.

I've shown a screenshot below to show what I mean. Anyone else have this issue?

That's because its a Garmin advert, wouldn't have happened if it was SkyCaddie, 100% more transparency and accuracy :smirk:

Yeah I have the same issue, luckily the mark as read option is still visible, and that's the one I use regularly.

Same here...other ads don't but this Garmin one does.

There was a Ping rollover ad that did the same thing.

can forumers please advise where its not showing and browser, hardware (ie iPad or desktop/laptop) etc for them

Hi Mike, no X for me for the ad. Using iPad 2 iOS 8.1 and Safari.

The X may well be there but on my Hudl I can't see the far right hand side of the ad.

Quick update......it's only the Garmin ad that hides the drop down menu.....all the others are OK.........
It also does the same on my iphone using Safari.

Getting the same issue with the SofaWorks ad....can't see the 'x' to close....

I am now having problems since the TM one appeared. On desktop with Chrome.

sorry youre having frustrations but not really sure what more i can say that I havent already
this is an issue the devlopers are looking at finding a solution to - its only on expandable formats
there are fairly simple workarounds to getting to unread posts
