Watch out for your tender plants, quite a sharp frost forecast for the next few nights.

Really?
I've just looked at the forecast and it says 17*C, rising to mid 20's through the day. And I've just watered the cactus in the garden...

Cheers Doon, the wife just bought some young plants today, they're in the hut for the night now
Golden rule where I live is don't put out your bedding plants until the end of May.
Summers here though, I saw my first swallow today:thup:
Tis mad down here as well, no decent rain for ages.Laid about 70 sqm of lawn and 200 foot of Yew hedging in March/April and having to keep watering the lot, driving me nuts and stopping me playing more golf, grr, what happened to April showers!!Have dug three 2.5foot deep holes recently and the soil is fairly dry all the way down, to bury the wife in, amazing for this time of year.Desperately in need of rain in the SW corner of Scotland.I am watering every day. Temperatures in the upper teens and a gentle wind blowing for about two weeks now.
