I said months ago that he would be a flop in the ryder cup this year, just havent fancied him for a while.

A real shame as I though before play that he would beat Kim but ended up getting a hiding.

Chin-Up and look forward to him hitting great form again, hopefully winning a major and going on and scoring some big points at celtic manor in 2010.

Kim played fantastic golf, especially given he's been a bit hit or miss the first couple of days.

But not sure what happened Sergio, he seemed to let Kim get to him and just lost it. I mean practise putting on a hole when he knows it's not allowed showed how out of sorts he was. I was waiting on him spitting in a hole or something!

not many could of lived with kim today was he 8 under through 14-15 holes
You're right. But I enjoyed seeing the big-headed b****** from Castellon getting a gubbing! Wonder what his excuse will be? Bad luck? Biased bunker rakers? God?

kim had him rattled I have tried to argue against people before that have claimed he is not able to cope with the big occasion but statistics really are starting to prove them correct. Hit some good golf shots but couldn't produce when it really mattered. Kim was phenomenal though, I do agree anyone would have struggled with him today. His antics were more than questionable though.

what a bunck of twats, the guy is playing for your continent and you wish him to get beat???!!
We have been well beat by a better team this time whom have putted superbly but for you fellas to wish a defeat on Sergio is beyond words really....disgusted.

this years ryder cup stunning golf from both teams been great viewing seeing what can be done with a little white ball its a pure showcase of talent

I don't think it's big occasions. Garcia's only problem is that not being able to putt is in his head now. Every event comes down to whether he is hot or not with the putter that week. This week he certainly was not.

Garcia has always been one of the worst for fist-pumping and trying to unsettle opponents. He seems too emotinally involved and needs to take a leaf out of Karlssons book - i.e. be cool, keep your mind steady and just hit the shots.
Sergio got a pasting off Cink at K Club and a pasting yesterday off Kim, he choked 06 and 07 at Open, choked a little at PGA this year so he needs to address his excitabilty which may work against him.
Saying that he's an fabulous player and a fantastic iron player but that dodgy short-putting touch has to be dealt with for him to reach his potential though.
Kim played well and did nothing wrong, played hard for his team, didn't let Garcia unsettle him. He seems to have a few detractors on here, don't know why, but he's one to watch for sure and a player I like - very confident, bold and aggressive, bit like Casey is for our side.

Garcia couldnt have done much better when you look at the scoring, he was just unlucky that he got Kim and not one of the others. No one will be hurting more than him.

I do agree hes lost a little of his fire and sparkle though but even with it wouldnt have beaten kim.

In competition, once you get in the groove and scoring really well you are difficult to beat. I know when Im gonna win or finish with a placing in comps, and when that feeling comes I always do no matter who Im up against.(doent happen often enough though lol)
Probably similar to Justin Rose knowing he was gonna beat Phil.
