Really useful practice session for me tonight. It's our club championship this weekend and I thought I needed to double check my distances. So, find a quiet few holes, and hit a few balls each with a variety of clubs, and GPS the distance they each went.

A little bit of maths (to adjust for wind), and I've got myself my yardages (3 on the graph is my 5w, 10 PW, 11 50deg and 12 58deg) - looking at approx 15 yard gap per club.

Part of me is slightly surprised by how nicely they lined up. I didn't think such a simple idea would work. Very noticeable how much further I get with the dry fairways and higher temperatures - certainly don't ping 200 yard 5 irons in the winter.
