Game improvemet clubs

Can anyone help? I have been playing on and off for almost 2 yrs now and my game is still frustratingly variable! I have been playing with a cheap set of hippos and I am thinking about buying a good branded set of "game improvement" clubs. Any recommendations on clubs and where the best bargains for such clubs can be had???

I went from a set of Hippo OSIV to a set of Wilson Staff DI7s and they are perfect for me. Have just seen on 118golf.com that you can buy them for £279 and get a free levitator cart or stand bag
